The paints were just fine, except the Sky Blue I ordered was extremely watery. It seemed to have separated in the tube and I couldn't get it to mix back together. It leaked the first several times I used it and was very difficult to mix. Other than that it was all very satisfactory.

it worked well, it did what I needed it to do. mixed good. but if mixing in small bottles put plastic at the top to prevent the top from cloging, then remove after the paint has been mixed.

One of the best gouaches I've ever used in my assignments. The quality of the pigment is nothing to argue with, and there's certainly no argument that this will improve the quality of your overall finished product.

This was a gift, but the service was superb, as always. Thank you.

The overall quality of this gouache is excellent. It is thick but easily watered down to paint in thin layers. The tube that I purchased is flourescent yellow; it blends well with the other brands of gouache that I use. This gouache is excellent for painting with a heavier amout of paint in an expressive style.

W/N gouache is my fluid of choice for my lettering needs. The pigments are of a superb quality that I know I can trust that the work I do today will survive the centuries to come.

THE BEST PRICE I'VE EVER SEEN!! If you're ordering this for school, get at least twice of what is reccomended. Its way too expensive anywhere else.

Winsor & Newton makes a superb product which mixes well and provides a concentrated long lasting paint. The only reason I don't give it five stars is it is more costly than other brands which I feel are similar in quality.
Rated by: Victoria O. in Park Ridge, IL
The gauache is ideal to work with and provides consistant color and results. The paint affords me the ability to create many shades of color as well as control the degree of transparency and opacity. They are very easy to work with and I use them on a regular basis. I especially like to use them with water colors but they work well with acrylics as well.

Great product! It does things that I don't even know about yet. Fun to experiment!

Great gouaches for illustrations! Has a nice matte finish and easily mixes with other colors to produce almost every shade in the rainbow.
Rated by: Mario P. in New York, NY
No other gouache can beat W&N for its opacity. Period. It is the gouache of choice for most designers and its colors are incredibly brilliant. It mixes and spreads well too. A must.

I have been an illustrator since 1970 and I find that the best airbrush colors in the world are Windsor Newton Gouache paints. I have tried dyes, synthetics, olis,inks-I believe that I have tried them all. The only true colors,30 years later, are the gouache colors. They never change with time. Everything else is a risk. You never know how the chemicals in the paper will react with the chemicals in the pigments of chemical paints. They do change at some point in time!!! It is usually pretty ugly results. Windsor Newton gouache needs no special care, filtering, etc. Mix with water and go for it.
