I've been using this paper in my collages for about 15 years. It is highly fade-resistant and a pleasure to work with. My one caveat is that the color swatches shown on this website do not closely match the actual colors of the papers.
Rated by: Frances T. in Sacramento, CA
The colors are delightful, the paper available in three sizes. The paper arrived in pristine condition, I have never received a parcel packed so well. The paper was sandwiched between two layers of cardboard, and two layers of paper filler. Magnificent!!

Beautiful paper and a wonderful variety of tints and sizes. Plus packaged VERY well to keep the paper undamaged on arrival.

I was pleasently suprised by the ease of ordering and the promp delivery of very fine pastel paper. I shall return to place any future orders.

Wonderful colored paper option other than white paper for my students. A fave with them! It is essential in my classical drawing class which lends itself to some beautiful renderings. I highly recommend using conte crayon with white charcoal highlights, or pastel or Prismacolor Art Stix (less dusty) or Prismacolor colored pencil. One side smooth, the other with a tooth. I personally dig the smooth side.

I love the white Mi-Teintes paper for my soft pastel paintings.

I use this paper for making OA; it is origamic architecture. This paper is thee best paper I have ever worked with. It is very flexible and looks beautiful in my finished handmade cards. The colors are beautiful, and I love the look and feel. Being that the paper is 65% fiber content, it lends itself to a lot of manipulation, which is important in the type of craft I do.

I tried these papers for cardmaking recently and was very happy with the color and texture.

I am using this to create handmade books. I love this Mi-Teintes paper and it is SO great to not have to cut pages from the 19 x 25.

This is a excellent paper for colored paper and pastels. Lovely weight and nice textures. One side heavily textured, the other less so. Works beautifully without marring and without scratching. I like this paper.

The CANSON Mi-Teintes Tinted Paper I ordered is fantastic. The paper is thick and richly textured and the muted tones are gorgeous. I used the papers to wrap a few choice gifts and to use as accent papers on gifts. The paper was so nice and sturdy that I had to take a bit of extra time to get the folds done correctly. But the extra time was well worth it as the paper had the packages turn out fabulously.

This paper is fantastic for portraits. I work with charcoal over the cream tinted paper, and the color of the paper works as a great medium shade for faces, almost giving them life color.
Rated by: Josephine L. L. in Boston, MA
This paper is excellent as a backdrop. I would not purchase this to print on inkets, or lasers, but I used this for wedding invitations. The outer layer (or bottom) of backdrop paper was handmade fancy paper (from a different place), the second layer was to hold the print paper firmly in place. The Canson paper served this purpose perfectly. The top layer was striped vellum. This paper cuts nicely, creases nicely and is textured very elegantly. Its heavier and thicker than construction paper, but folds as neatly as cardboard (though not as thick). Great for scrapbooking and invitation making.

I used this as wallpapering in one of my rooms of the dollhouse im working on. The texturing on the paper make it look really nice!

I love your paper when I make my cards. The texture feels like watercolor paper.
Rated by: Debra C. in Sumter, SC
This paper is awesome! The texture and weight as well as the color make this paper the perfect choice for many scrapbooking projects. The larger size that is available open up many possibilities for its use and I am still coming up with ideas! A+++

Canson Mi-Teintes papers are not as bright as expected. Quality of paper, however, was excellent.

Really quality papers...smooth and holds pastels...great for blending colors.
Rated by: Judith W. in Coloma, MI
This paper has a rough side and a smooth side, depending on which you like. There is a wide range of colors, and it holds up well for either pastels or charcoal drawings. The small size can be slipped in a page protector until it can be framed.

We used this paper for a poster board project and it brought out the pictures very well.
Rated by: Kelley K. in Carson City, NV
I have used this paper for at least 10 years. I use it in books, cards and for pastel painting. It is heavy enough for "meaty" journals I use the smooth side for pastel paintings. the perfect all around art or craft paper.
Rated by: Elle M. in Palm Desert, CA
I've been using Mi-Teintes for over 10 years. I have found that recently I use the paper for nearly all of my colored pencil work. The contrasts are beautiful especially with the darker shaded papers. Mi-teintes simply illuminate illustrations.
Rated by: Ronda P. in Huntsville, AL
I absolutely love this paper!! I use it for rubber stamping greeting cards and I can watercolor in my rubber stamps or ink them and they look so strikingly beautiful on this perfect paper!! I love the texture which is superior to linen to me!!
Rated by: Suzanne R. in Lockeford, CA
I use Canson Mi-Teintes Tinted Paper for a variety of art projects, from collage work to card design. The color selection is great and its sturdy body makes it versatile. The subtle double texture adds interest as well.
Rated by: Krysia K. in Greeley, CO
This is my favorite pastel paper. The colors are brilliant. The paper is two-sided so I have a choice of textures to work my painting on. It doesn't fray and stands up well to reworking and erasing.
