This clay is easy for young and older students to manipulate and its consistancy remains moist and pliable for about an hour before it begins to air dry. Once dry it can be painted with nearly any painting media, including watercolors. It is more fragile than fired clay and should be kept dry. It's my favorite clay for a lesson on Greek pottery due to its color and ease in demonstrating clay basics such as pinch pots, coil pots and scoreing to attach handles.
