Air Hardening Modeling Clay

by Das

This extremely soft clay produces fine and even textures, yet it is durable and permanent when hardened. It can be incorporated with different materials such as wood or cardboard, and can be colored, painted or varnished when wet or dry. I never saw it mentioned on the web, but it has a terrible smell like sharpie marker. It dries super fast in the package, even keeping it in a ziplock baggie. Other than that .it was ok but Plus clay is much better in my opinion, and similar in all the good ways.

Hi , I have used the product for a number of wildlife sculptures I have made starting with a paper mache and wire basic shape and adding DAS to sculpt in fine detail. I have not experienced any bad cracking and the finished sculptures can be sanded and finished in acrylics and varnish or a faux metalic paint. They are strong and durable.
