I purchased this nib holder for my copperplate calligraphy studies, if you are not left handed you need this holder or an elbow shape nib since you write in an angle of 55 degrees of inclination.

Great pen holder for copperplate calligraphy. Allows for light touch and ease in optaining the angle necessary to produce the lettering. Also you can see what you're doing better with the offset positioning.

I like this pen enough to recommend it to other left handers out there. It deserves to be a part of your quest to find the best tools suited for you. I only wish that I could abandon all my other pens for this one.
