Is there a specific sealer available to seal glass, tile, or plastics that have been dyed with alcohol ink?- Asked by G. Moore on 08-Feb-14
Lightly apply a few coats of clear acrylic spray such as Crystal Clear Spray Triple-Thick Glaze. Allow to dry thoroughly between coats. A stronger sealer may then be applied such as polyurethane or an acrylic gloss medium. Another option is EnviroTex Lite Pour-On High Gloss Finish.- Answered by MisterArt on 11-Feb-14
How does one make a canvas slick enough to accept alcohol inks ?- Asked by sharon gardner on 05-Dec-13
These inks are not meant for this purpose, so if this is what you want, you must experiment.- Answered by MisterArt on 06-Dec-13
How do you seal the ink if you are making coasters?- Asked by Stephanie Ptak on 29-Nov-13
These paints are alcohol-based and are meant for non-porous surfaces. We do not sell a sealant product for them, and it may be that you would not need one.- Answered by MisterArt on 02-Dec-13
