Great nib. Holds plenty of ink. Very comfortable to use with the General Cork Grip Pen Holder.

I am teaching myself copperplate and it is very sensitive but still very easy to use. The fine lines you can get are incredible, holds a good amount of ink and had a great bounce back. Have tested about 10 nibs for copperplate so far, this is the top one for me!

Great for copperplate calligraphy, very flexible, good control of the ink, fine clean lines.

The "Imperial" is probably the best of the Hunt product line for life sketching. Insofar as dip steel-quill nibs go, it has some outstanding characteristics. They are: good spring, flow and durability. Remember to clean off the protective shellac coating before you use it for the first time by boiling in water or using a flame, otherwise your early efforts in the medium may prove frustrating.

My favorite point. I draw on smooth papers and find I can get a nice line with this nib. It lasts pretty long, and can even be sharpened a bit with a razor blade.
Rated by: sue s. in pullman, WA
The BEST pen I have used! Awsome pen, and retains a lot of ink, so you wouldn't have to dip for a long time.
Rated by: Joan Y. in Wall, NJ
These nibs are the best for the copperplate style of calligraphy. Depending on the pressure you place upon the nib, you can easily form beautiful letters and accent them with thin flourishes.
