Great beginners set, I just wish the size of the nib was written clearer on each piece, but it writes awesome and is a very good price!

I have purchased other brands of calligraphy sets. This is by far the best Brand. It writes the smoothest, you do not run threw the ink cartridges like water and the sets do not leak. They also have a very full selection; I can’t wait to buy the rest of their calligraphy products. This is also the best converter if you do not want to be limited by the use of cartridges.

This set is my favorite of all the pens I've used in 30 years! It has a wide choice of nibs, it's easy to use and gives great results, plus it looks far more expensive than it really is.

The Manuscript Deluxe Fountain Pen set is great! I have been teaching calligraphy for close to 30 years, and there was a period of time when it was difficult to find a satisfactory beginner's fountain pen in the US. I am delighted with this pen. I am using it myself and recommending to all my students.

I am new at this calligraphy stuff but find this pen set works quite well. I like the wide assortment of nibs. The only drawback is the silly little decorative golden ring which serves no purpose ather than coming off with each nib change. I have elected to just leave it off. That is the only reason that I gave it a 4 and not a five.
