Grass Roots Art and Community Effort
Grass Roots Art and Community Effort (GRACE) has been a vital force in the community life of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom since 1975, providing a voice for individuals at the grassroots level. GRACE brings weekly art making workshops to the places where people live and work: nursing homes, mental health centers, senior meal sites, adult day centers, and artists' homes. GRACE has been recognized and supported as an important and original community arts program by the Vermont Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, the New England Foundation for the Arts, the Vermont Community Foundation and many private foundations.
I have been using Pelikan opaque watercolors for 40 years. I love them. They last a long time. The colors are great. Also, with more pigment, you can achieve rich vibrant colors that don't fade. I don't put my finished pieces in the sun. And they don`t dry up like tube watercolors. I have given them as presents also.
These magnets are awesome!
I use them for numerous things, gluing them to flashlights so they won't rattle in a car.
Glued one on a old fine paint brush to sweep off my keyboard on my computer, storing it on a file cabinet in the room. Hold a piece of metal to be welded on a vehicle.
But the glue utilized must be strong, for the first stuff I used, the magnet tore loose from the flashlight. I use JB Weld-minute weld epoxy.
